New connection revealed

The hoarding is down, and the former Ward H2 space is officially open, revealing the future main walkway connecting our existing hospital to the new building.



Here’s what’s happening behind the (now-gone) curtain:

• John Hunter Hospital’s executive team has set up shop in a temporary space here
• The cashier’s office has permanently relocated to its new home
• A future retail space is now visible opposite the cashier.

New hoarding is now being installed around the old Cashier’s Office and Executive Suite to allow further refurbishment works to begin.
