Multiplex is inviting registrations from female school students in the Hunter who are interested in joining the construction industry.  
 
The Multiplex Jump Start and Jump Start Trades programs showcase the diverse and rewarding career options within the construction industry, fostering students' aspirations, and broadening their horizons through hands-on learning experiences.
 
Students will be connected with industry professionals from the Multiplex delivery team, consultants and subcontractors receiving a direct pathway to Multiplex’s Work Experience Program, Apprenticeship Program and the Graduate Assessment Centre, upon completion. In addition to the above pathways, students who either complete Jump start or who are enrolled at participating Jump Start schools will be eligible to apply for a Jump Start Scholarship. 
 
Jump Start
The Jump Start program is for female students in years 9-12 interested in a non-trade construction career such as architecture, design, engineering or construction management. You receive valuable insight into what’s involved in the construction industry through immersive experiences such as site walks, mentoring sessions, interactive workshops, and more. Jump Start Trades
The Jump Start Trades program is for female students in years 10-12 who are interested in a building trade career such as electrical, plumbing and carpentry. You gain valuable exposure to a commercial construction build through a series of after school workshops that include site walks, mentoring sessions and hands on activities in carpentry/joinery, plumbing and electrical.  See the attached fact sheet for more.
