The concept design for Muswellbrook Hospital Stage 3 redevelopment was released in June 2022, and the community was encouraged to share their feedback.

Since that time, there have been changes to the project scope. See the latest news update from November 2023.

The project team has reviewed and updated the project scope to deliver within the available budget, which includes a new Operating Theatre suite, a new Sterilising Department and the relocation of Community Health into the existing hospital.
